ANATTI Just Removed His All Solo Albums Online

ANATII’s ARTIIFACT and IYEZA albums have been removed from streaming platforms.

In a cryptic tweet sent out this morning, ANATII shared that he has removed his solo albums from streaming platforms. He didn’t however share his reasons, just gratitude to his fans.

As of today, both ARTIIFACT (2016) and IYEZA (2018) are no longer streaming. His joint album with AKA, Be Careful What You Wish For, is still available.

ANATII shares this news at the back of Riky Rick’s Family Values album being removed from streaming platforms last week. Riky’s team didn’t explain the move but did say that Family Values would eventually make its way back to streaming platforms.

South African hip-hop albums have a tendency of disappearing from streaming platforms or just never making it there. Stogie T’s Return of the King (2015) was removed years ago. Cashtime Life’s catalogue was only uploaded on streaming platforms about two years ago.

Meanwhile, fans have been expressing their disappointment over the removal of IYEZA, ANATII’s magnum opus which featured the singles ‘THIXO ONOFEFE’ and ‘WENA’. At least the music videos are still live on YouTube. But, for how long?
